Monique Leblanc

Registered Veterinary Technician
I graduated in 2014 from Oulton College in Moncton. I guess you could say my dog Veruca inspired me to become a veterinary technician. When we would go to the veterinarian, I would see all these techs at work and I just knew that this was what I wanted to do. I joined the clinic not long after graduating. I decided to join the clinic because it was a fast pace, extremely busy practice. I knew I’d be able to see and learn lots in a short amount of time. The staff that work here are all amazing and love doing what they do! Nutrition is my biggest passion in the industry and one of the main reasons I decided to go into animal medicine. My first pet was a Lhasa Apso and her name was Pichou. I love taking care of our in hospital patients. Making sure that they have everything they need and that their kennel is always clean is one of my number one priorities while on the job. I also love interacting with clients about nutrition and what they can do to improve their dog’s health, through nutrition. My favourite thing about the clinic is the staff is amazing! Fun fact about myself is I studied to become a sports physiotherapist, as well as a youth care worker, before returning to school to become a veterinary technician. I recently bought a new house that I share with my dog Veruca and my three cats Diego, Rain and Opie.
