Registered Veterinary Technician

Team Lead

Animals have always been in my life. I was raised on a farm in Ontario and attended the Ontario Agriculture College at the University of Guelph earning my Animal Science Degree in 2007. In my previous work in animal care, I soon came to realize that the time I spent helping the veterinarian was the time I enjoyed the most, and this is what inspired me to become a veterinary technician. I attended Oulton College in Moncton, New Brunswick, and graduated in June of 2016 from the Veterinary Technician program. I joined the clinic in 2014 as a part-time animal care assistant while I completed my Veterinary Technician schooling. In June of 2016 after graduation, I was hired to stay on full-time as a technician. My special area of interests is theriogenology. I love my job because I love the feeling I get from being able to help people help their pets to feel their best. Seeing those tails wag always puts a smile on my face. Fun fact about myself is I worked as a professional zookeeper for seven years, before becoming a technician.
