Hailey Johnson

I have always had a love for animals in a way that was more than owning them – I knew I wanted to help them in every way possible. With very little knowledge of career paths for helping animals, I found myself struggling to find a career meant for me until I was informed of the Veterinary Assistant program at Oulton College.

Throughout the course of a year, I found myself falling more in love with this career and spent countless hours fantasizing about one day working in a veterinary hospital such as Riverview. I worked very hard in my course and was provided with the amazing opportunity to complete my on-the-job training with the team at Riverview.

From there, I fell in love with this hospital as a whole and was offered to join the team and make a difference for these amazing animals!
