Dr. Lethan Dwan
Veterinarian
Dr. Lethan Dwan has been an Associate Veterinarian with the Riverview Animal Hospital since 2017 and has thirteen years of experience in Veterinary Medicine. Originally from Scotland, Dr. Dwan is an honours graduate from the University of Glasgow School of Veterinary Medicine, has a Bachelor of Veterinary Medicine and Surgery (BVMS), and his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM).
Dr. Dwan moved from Scotland to British Columbia in 2009 to have the opportunity to work in a mixed animal practice. In 2013, Dr. Dwan then relocated to Moncton, New Brunswick with his family to gain experience working in a small animal practice. This led to him pursuing his interest in surgery and orthopedics at the Riverview Animal Hospital, where he is now well regarded in the Greater Moncton community and surrounding areas.
To continue his education, Dr. Dwan has completed 3 years of practical stewardship with Dr. Caroline Runyon on advanced soft tissue and orthopaedic surgery, is completing a 2-year Advanced Surgery Certificated Course and has additional training in Advanced Spinal Surgery, Small and Micro Animal Orthopedic Surgical and Advanced Surgical Oncology.
